APPLY FOR THE EDUCATIONAL PATHWAYS INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR GHANAIAN TERTIARY STUDENTS


 
The University for Development Studies (UDS), one of Ghana’s premier institutions committed to addressing the developmental challenges of the nation, has announced the opening of applications for the prestigious Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship for undergraduates for the 2024/2025 academic year. 

Known for its emphasis on practical and community-based education, UDS has been at the forefront of equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to impact society positively.


ABOUT THE EPI SCHOLARSHIP 

The Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship is a highly sought-after financial aid program designed to support academically gifted yet economically disadvantaged students. 

It seeks to nurture the potential of bright young minds by easing the financial burden of higher education, enabling beneficiaries to focus on achieving academic excellence and pursuing their career goals. 
This fully-funded scholarship not only provides funding but also inspires recipients to contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 

Interested applicants are to meet the following requirements:
  • Must be a level 100 or 200 student
  • Must be residing in an impoverished part of the country 
  • Must have attended a GES approved school
  • Must be able to provide proof of limited family income
  • Must have the will and determine to succeed in education and other life pursuits 
  • Must have obtained an aggregate 11 or better
  • Must confirm not be receiving any other study grant and pledge not to accept any other financial assistance or scholarship while in the EPI program
  • Must be willing to work in Ghana for two years upon graduation 
  • Must be a gifted child.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS 

Applicants must submit the following during the application process:
  • West Africa Senior School Certificate Exam( (WASSCE) results
  • Senior High School (SHS) Transcripts ( Terminal Reports)
  • University admission letter
  • Proof of registration ( level 100 students)
  • Records regarding awards, honors including letters of recommendation 
  • Documents to proof lack of funds to support your educational goals
  • A completed application form.

APPLICATION DEADLINE 

The deadline for submission is Monday, February 17, 2025. All completed applications must be submitted within this timeframe to be considered.
