APPLICATIONS ARE OPENED FOR THE JOSEPHINE NANA ADWOA ASMA (JNA) FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP FOR FEMALE ENGINEERING STUDENTS



The Josephine Nana Adwoa Asmah Foundation and Empowerment Center (JNA Foundation) is a faith-driven, non-profit organization devoted to creating opportunities for young women in STEM in Ghana to unlock their full potential. Established in memory of Josephine Nana Adwoa Asmah—a visionary leader and passionate advocate for women’s empowerment—the Foundation carries forward her legacy of inspiring transformation, compassion, and growth.

Drawing inspiration from Josephine’s exceptional achievements in academics, her distinguished career at organizations like Tullow Ghana and Guinness Ghana, and her unwavering dedication to mentoring young women, the JNA Foundation aims to leave a lasting impact on lives and communities through its initiatives.


MISSION STATEMENT 

The JNA Foundation is dedicated to empowering young women in engineering through mentorship, education, and skills training. By building confidence, nurturing spiritual growth, and fostering leadership, the Foundation prepares young women to be drivers of change within their communities. 

It envisions a future where opportunities for women fuel transformative progress and create ripple effects of positive change on a broader scale.
This Foundation is more than a tribute to an extraordinary legacy; it is a commitment to shaping a brighter future, one empowered young woman at a time.




ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP 
  • Must be a female engineering student at KNUST with good academic records
  • Must be an active member of the Women in Engineering (WinE) club at KNUST.

HOW TO APPLY
  • Submit a complete application form along with academic transcripts 
  • Submit a brief essay describing why you should be considered for the scholarship 
  • Provide proof of membership in the Women in Engineering club at KNUST.
